Mother's Day

Today, May 11th was Mother’s Day here in Japan. In Britain it was on March 30th. I bought my mother-in-law these flowers as she likes gardening and flowers. I also got her some luxurious puddings from Ginza, though I didn't have to go to Ginza to get them luckily. Last year I also got her flowers, but a different type. She seemed over the moon with them.For my mother in England, I got her a one year subscription to a magazine I knew she would like. It’s called Mind, and its about the mind and its workings. This was the first year I didn't buy her chocolates. When I buy my mother gifts, I usually buy over the Internet as sending gifts from Japan can be more expensive because of the postal fees.
