Tabla drum

I'm starting to learn how to play the tabla drum. The reason I started is because my wife is a bellydancer and she suggested I learn it jokingly. As I like the sound of this drum, I decided to give it a go, It was harder than I thought It would be, but now I’m getting better and starting to enjoy it more. It’s not easy to find a teacher for this type of drum where I live, so I’m using a DVD by Karim Nagi which is great.
